FS ONLY" Tobias Basic 5 Pre-Gibson 1985 Vintage

I hate to do this!!! All Original 1985 Tobias Basic 5 with Alder body wings and maple/purple heart neck with Rare'stacked knob set up seen only on early Tobias basses made back when Mike and his small crew made them one at a time.
Its sounds great and is in imaculated condion for its age and comes with Original Tobias case.
I am playing Smith all the time and this bass needs to be played.The pre-amp is active/passive with Vol,vol,,bass,mid and treble along with a tone control like Vintage Fenders had to roll off the highs.

That looks just like my buddy's bass. He played that bass at our church for many years until he got his Sadowsky. Didn't know he sold it.

Did you buy that bass from a guy in Gainesville?

This is my old bass and man, it was so crucial in my life for the past 3 years or so. I had to part ways with her (named her Cleo) because I just got way too used to playing with wider string spacing. I bet those Barts with the alder body wings sound super warm. Nice to see a Pre-Gibson at that price. Shouldn't be here long. I wish I had some extra cash for it.

Its indeed warm but very crispy and sweet on the highs with a nice low end thump.
Mike T told me that its the classic wood combo used on Fender p basses.
