SOLD: USA Cirrus 5 Redwood

Sign in to disble this ad
Really hate to let this baby go, but gas and other issues are forcing this move. Up on the block is my Cirrus USA 5 with a gorgeous redwood finish. Specs are as follows:

• 35'' Scale
• 24 medium jumbo polished frets
• Redwood and Alder body
• Pau Ferro fingerboard
• Graphite reinforced neck and peg head
• Dual expanding torsion rod
• Graphtech™ top nut
• VFL™ pickups
• Multi-adjustable ABM bridge
• Gold-plated hardware
• Volume/pickup blend controls
• Active 3-band EQ

There are some small “dings” on the instrument, and I’ve attempted to show them in the pictures. Nothing major but I want to disclose all imperfections.

Everybody who has played these knows what incredible instruments they are and how they can easily compare with basses costing much more. A quick search of our databases will verify the quality of these instruments.

Paypal sale includes a Gator Rigid EPS Foam Lightweight Case and a set of new Cirrus nickel-wound strings. $849 price includes shipping (to CONUS addresses) and insurance.

Manufacture Date

Had some folks ask me the manufacture date of the instrument. I called Peavey with the serial number, and they gave me a range - somewhere between July 1998 and January 1999. They were unable to pinpoint any closer, as their data base was corrupted and could only give a range for serial numbers beginning with "106..." (as is this one). BTW -- very helpful and friendly customer service at Peavey!
