Bought this a few months back, and while it is a fabulous instrument, I seem to prefer playing my MIM with Nordstand p/u's. While the MIM certainly is not as versatile as this bass, it just feels good in my hands.

Beautiful green/blue one piece body, truly an outstanding bass. The neck profile is a bit different than my MIM jazz, maybe a D and the USA is a C? Not sure maybe someone with more knowledge can jump in and explain the differences. Comes with a Sadowsky preamp with the VTC. Here is a link to the thread where I got it, has pics and full details.

Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass (Trans Teal) w/ Sadowsky Preamp

I got it for $1050 or $1100 (can't quite remember), either is a great price. Gigged with it twice, no real wear, easily 9 out of 10 condition, comes with original Fender HSC you see in the pics and the Fender preamp. I'm asking $1000, buyer pays shipping, US sales only, cashiers check or MO preferred. Price is firm, no trades, looking for cash deal only, as I must pay a large CC bill at the end of the month, otherwise I would probably keep it or be interested in trading. Thanks for looking.

Bump from the previous owner. That bass plays very nice and the sound with the Sadowsky pre is sweet. I sold it after I decided to keep only one J bass and I prefer passive axes. The trans teal finish looks great too.

Thanks John, I appear to prefer passives myself. It is a seriously nice instrument, and somebody will be very happy with it.
