FS-only: vintage 1981 StingRay,and 2010 rare pink Classic StingRay

FS only, cannot do any trades as I'm trying to get a very unique custom bass. From my closet collection of basses:

*SOLD* 1981 preEB Musicman StingRay. Sunburst alder body with maple board, and feels lightweight. The beautiful condition of this is insane as everything is pretty cherry looking, and the bass is 100% original and untouched, original frets are like new, original mutes intact and functional, and every last screw is original, I even have the original strap buttons. The neck is what is incredible as this is the slimmest Ray neck I've ever played or owned and you can set action as low as you want, feels just like an old preCBS Fender! The light alder also resonates beautiful mids and sounds so warm. No missing paint from the body, but there are about two small soft surface dings on very lower side-edge, probably from someones pants sitting down. It does have only one finish check that's hard to picture in the bridge to forearm area (look at pic). The headstock has a couple of small chips in the clear, but the finish all-over the bass is very shiny...this does not look like a 29yr old bass, and it's one the nicest vintage Rays around! 8.9 lbs, and vintage case too.
*SOLD*

Pink StingRay sold elsewhere.

Holy.... That pink classic is sick, but that '81 is simply incredible.

Great Ceasar's ghost! If I had $2300 in my pocket to spend, I would be torn over which way to go! Good luck with those two beauties!

Great Oden's Raven! They are both beautiful, and I never thought I'd get excited about a pink bass!! Good luck with it. Sadly, I'm out of the running.
