FS Only: Warwick Streamer 4 LX SE 2010 Redwood

Hi Folks,

I offer for sale only (no trades please) my Warwick Streamer 4 LX SE 2010. Here are the specs:

- Special Edition for 2010
- Number 6 of only 40 made
- Redwood top
- Ash back
- Ovankol neck
- Ebony fretboard
- Bartolini PJ pickups (passive)
- Bartolini 2 way preamp
- Active / passive switch
- 24 Bell brass frets
- Warwick strap locks
- Warwick soft case
- Warwick tool kit
- Weighs about 8 lbs and balances perfectly with no neck dive whatsoever

The bass has never left my home since I received it - I bought it new last summer. Great bass and capable of a nice variety of tones - precision and jazz rolled into one.

The screws that control the pickup height are black, and I have a tendency to rest my thumb on the top of the front pickup, right on top of the screw - it's quite comfortable actually. As a result, the paint is a little worn on the top of this screw. There is no pick-guard on this bass, and as a result there are also some very slight, and I mean really slight, marks on the body beneath the G string from normal play.

Here's a link to a clip where Ed Friedland reviews this bass:

The official MSRP is ridiculously high (over $5k) but I paid a lot less than that. I'm asking $1850 plus shipping for this baby. Gorgeous bass in great condition. More pics to follow.

Thanks,

Peter.

Thanks! It's a really nice bass - well balanced, easy to play, looks cool and sounds great. I also have a fretless version, which I'm not selling.

I've played this Streamer and it's a beauty, not only great looking but a dream to play. Peter is meticulous about the maintenance and this bass has been babied and oiled as recommended by Warwick.
Someone should buy this gorgeous bass!!

Hey Peter, beautiful bass. I was eyeing a 5-string version of it w/ JJ pickups a few months ago on eBay but really like your 4 w/ PJ's. I believe I read they have a pretty thick redwood top, and not just a thin laminate right. Have any additional pics you can share?

FS Only: Warwick Streamer 4 LX SE 2010 Redwood

Hi Guys ... thanks for checking in with me on this and for the kind words. The redwood top on this bass is a full 1 inch thick ... really nice. I've attached some more pics as promised. Cheers, Peter.
