FS: P Bass Deluxe Lyte with Upgrades

Hard to part with this one - but here goes. 1986 Fender P Bass Lyte Deluxe.

You've seen 'em here - but hard to find one this nice, light (7.8 lbs) and tight. Body refurb'ed using light sanding and Tung Oil by (TB's own) Thunderitter. He also did a super job installing the Audere Classic 4-band pre with complete shielding and gold hardware (knobs and strap buttons).

Currently strung with LaBella flats for that Jamerson-side thump. Although with the Audere - anything tone-wise is possible.

Comes with Fender HSC.

Near perfect body - light worming on back and small depression near elbow bend, but hard to really find fault with anything. Hey, 25 years and this looks like it could pass for new.

$600 shipped and insured US Ground. Not interested in trades - thanks!

Todd

I have a 94, non-deluxe. Well crafted instruments for sure. The only weakness is the electronics, which in this case looks like he solved by replacing them.

I'm thinking of putting an audere in mine, too. But not the classic pre-amp but the other one because I want the active/passive switch, too. I only have 4 holes to work with as well so we'll see.
