Back on the market! I got touched in my no-no place by Uncle Sam, so this needs to go! Just recently bought this bass, and liked the sound so much, the Valenti I ordered was informed by the electronics in this bass (despite what the press materials say, this bass has EMG 35CS pickups--which are placed basically in a p/j set-up--and an active pre wired vol/vol/bass/treble). This bass sounds outstanding (the best sounding bass I've owned, in my opinion), with thumpy, punchy lows, aggressive mids, and clear-but-not-harsh-or-brittle highs. However, the neck is just a bit too small for me (I like my necks a little on the chunky side), so it's probably up the alley of anyone who like a Jazz kind of neck (though it is a bit bigger than that). This bass has just been set up, and it is buzz-free. The action is 3/16" at the 24th fret as set-up, and probably won't go much lower. The frets are clean and won't saw your fingers off as you move up and down the neck. Excellent balance, on a strap or in a lap. Neck is straight, trussrod is fully operational. This bass is basically brand-new. Weight approx. 9 1/4 lb. Includes a gigbag. Not really sure what kind of rounds are on it.
