FS: Parts / Franken Precision - Cort body/ Mighty Mite maple neck neck Cheap!

I've had this listed locally and have decided to see if anyone here had an interest in it. I'm trying to put together a jazz because I think it will be more comfortable on my wrist. I've practiced on this bass every day for the past year or so and have loved it's tone, I just think it's time for a change!

The Cort had a bad neck, so I swapped it out for a Mighty Mite maple/maple I got from TB'er jfenderp.

NITTY GRITTY:No-name tuners. I installed the string tree and neck myself (I am by no means a professional anything). There is a 1-2mm gap on the lower horn side of the neck pocket. There is a ding on the side of the 10th fret and at the top of the headstock. 34" scale, standard P-width at the nut, etc. Missing both knobs and the electronics are pretty noisy - it could benefit from a shielding and set-up, I just never had the time to accomplish those tasks. A few of the screws securing the pickguard are wonky.

There is a healthy amount of scratches on the back and bottom from play wear. There are a few finish chips in the neck pocket and one finish crack extending about 1/2 to 1" from the corner of the neck pocket. If you need pictures of a particular area just ask! I can also record clips if you want to hear how it sounds. Just let me know!

Price is $165 shipped, lower 48, PayPal. Only trade considered would be a maple/maple pearloid block All Parts jazz neck + cash from me. I would like to see if there is any interest in the bass as a whole before parting it out, but let me know either way!

It really is a sweet players instrument - it could definitely use a little TLC but everything is in perfect playing shape. There is no case or bag included with this auction, but I will package it very well. Will ship via UPS. Hit me with any questions or concerns you may have.
