This is a bass that I recently put together. I got the loaded body off of Ebay; it is new (no scratches & had plastic on the pickguard). The body is alder & I am guessing the parts are imported (Good quality):
I bought the body to go with one of my hand made Moonshine necks (for personal use) & was very pleased with the quality of it. The only problem was that I bid on a Seafoam green body & I received what appears to me to be a sonic blue one. Upon talking with the guy that had the auction, he told me that he had a second party shipping the bodies & the blue & green ones looked very close to each other. I paid $99 (+ shipping) & it was a good deal... Just not into light blue basses. Paying for shipping it back & hoping to get a green one just didn't make sense so I ended up with a spare body.
I had this MIM Jazz neck laying around, so I put them together. It makes for a really nice bass. The neck is straight & in good condition. Fairly lightweight & balances well. The bass sound good & plays great.
I am asking $250 USD. I have that much invested in this (+ shipping charges for the body) & that is what I would like to get out of it. Shipping is additional, but I will only charge for actual shipping. There is no case or bag included, but I can provide you with a new Guardian Hard case or gig bag for a reasonable price.
