Has GHS super steel (stainless tapercores) installed.
Unlike most $800 BQuads.. this one is not dorked or modified... truely a bass masterpiece.

Should never have parted with mine to begin with

The B-Quad 4 is actually a standard 34" scale.
However, the B-Quad 5 is a 35" scale.

The leprechaun/smurf thing is very witty. Well done perfektspace6. I think the price for the BQuad is good. I found one that sold earlier this year here for 1400 dollars. I am asking much less. Grab it someone!
Also, I changed the scale length to 34" as it should be listed. Thanks for the correction ubnomnar! |

I really like B Quad neck profile than cirrus personally.

I love the Cirrus scale (35" scale, of course) and have always found 34" scale to feel awkward. 32" and the Alembic 30.75" short scale feel good.
Thanks !

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Twixt a rock and a hard place | | | mb94952, the 5 string BQuad is 35" scale, but the one I have is 34". It is all personal opinion I guess. I am looking to move permanently to short or medium scale basses. For me a 35" would be a stretch. This one is probably the best and most versatile I have ever owned. I just want to move down to medium or short scale stuff.
Yes, the neck is a Modulus to the previous poster. PM me if you have an offer, but honestly this is already a very low price on this. They typically go for a couple/few hundo more than I am asking for mine. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Seattle, Wa. | | | I have a Cirrus 6, and have a B-quad 4... and sold Perfektspace6 the fretless B-quad 5 (which I'm missing terribly, right about now...). The scale definitely feels different to me on the 4, but it's not a huge adjustment. I have no problems switching between them, even though the 4 isn't getting any play time these days. I can't seem to play anything but 6ers these days! Anyhow, I'll never let go of my B-quad. They are amazing basses, and worth every penny for the versatility you get. I put nylon piccolo strings on it once, and it sounded almost like a nylon string guitar. The piezos make it a totally different animal! I believe the neck was also contracted from Modulus, if I'm not mistaken. Great basses!

Yes the neck is a Modulus.
If this doesn't sell I will not be sad. I can defer the custom bass thing a couple months without sweating it. It is such a fine bass. |

If it's still here in a week, I will see.... | Don't wait.. most Bquads are "modified"
I rarely see them pop up.

I've owned both side by side (with a Bquad5)
Neck on a Bquad doesn't taper out as much.. the profile is slimmer in most dimensions.. can be as it's Modulus Carbon fiber.
Out of the 2.. I'd keep the Bquad and sell the Cirrus.
