Peavey Cirrus USA 6 string bass. I have had this bass for about 4 years and it is in great condition. The tone on this bass is incredible, very flexible.
- 35 inch scale
- Neck-thru-body
- 2 VFL(tm) active pickups
- 18 volt Active 3-band EQ
- Pau Ferro fretboard
- Claro Walnut Body Top and Headstock Cover
- Clear Polyester Finish
- Graphite reinforced neck
Only a slight nick on the back of the neck behind the nut (won't even show up on a picture).. The reason I am parting with this bass is because I need to cut down my collection and I don't find the need for a 6 string with the kind of work I do. It includes the original hardshell case, straplocks, and manual.
$900 Shipped CONUS

Really missed that low B though, so I bought a Walnut 5-er. If I didn't already have two fretted Cirrus..es ... Cirri (what's the plural of Cirrus?), or if yours were fretless, I'd be jumping on this...

You should get it anyway, I am loving my Cirrus 6 so much it has become my main player.

And a 5+ string fretless would be a much better fit for me currently. So if it were fretless, or if it was local and I could play it first, or maybe even if it wasn't walnut or redwood, I'd be more interested. That said, I haven't quite ruled out the possibility. Quote:

The neck also feels thinner than the 5. It may be that the thickness is the same for both but the wider neck on the 6 makes it seem thinner.
