i like this bass alot, but ive gotta be honest in that im probably not going to use it a whole lot. i had an american cirrus and this thing sounds better to my ear. its around 8.75 pounds and a lot airier than the heavy cirrus i had.
no dings and very clean. one catch though. the bridge has been countersunk into the body. its not a pro job, but it doesnt look like someone did it with a chisel either. one thing's for sure is that you can now get stupid low action on this because the fretwork is perfect. its as level all the way up to the 24th fret as any boutique ive had.
theres one replaced knob.
heres a sound clip so theres no doubt how good these sound- http://www.4shared.com/file/16432405...irrus_bxp.html
and heres the pics
325 shipped via usps. ships in original peavey gig bag.

| | | | I've never played one of these... how do they feel compared to, say, a Fender jazz bass?
And as for sound... how close can they get to Music Man-style slap?

For the price, you really can't do better IMHO. They get you 90% of the Cirrus/Smith sound for a steal! Hearing that clip makes me wish Peavey made a short scale Cirrus!

narud, just wanted to let you know, i'm not a player on this one anymore. i decided to stay with a 34 inch scale, since my main player is one as well.
good luck with the sell.
