FS: Peavey Dyna-Bass Unity Series Koa (P/J)

Dyna-Bass Unity Series Koa

Completely stock AFAIK.

34 inch scale
neck thru
ebony fretboard
MOP markers
Schaller roller bridge
Schaller (?) P/J pups
Dyna preamp (active/passive switch and 3 band EQ with passive tone control)

This bass has some player wear, but is in good shape overall. I really love the thin neck and light weight resonant body on this one! And the pups sound great too -- very punchy and tonally versatile.

Full disclosure - Currently missing one speed knob and one witch hat ... I've installed 5 black metal knobs that match bridge and tuners since it was what I had handy ... but replacing the two plastic knobs might look better. Still has some fretboard grime. Also, the top strap button is a bit crooked; it's secure and hasn't bother me enough to straighten it out yet.

I picked this up a couple months ago with the intent of oiling it up and keeping it. However, GAS-driven purchases have forced me to sell some things. Plus another baby on the way is leaving me little time for working on basses.

The same model (different pups) recently sold here within hours for $550 + shipping.

I'll let this one go for $375 shipped / insured in CONUS (OBRO). HSC included.

Email or PM if interested; email may get quicker response. Please no lowballers!

With and without new knobs.

A replacement speed knob and witch hat might look more original, but I think these metal ones look OK and match the black hardware.

Price Dropped to Move!

I wasn't exactly sure how to price this one.

I'd like to move this bass quickly -- price dropped accordingly. I'll consider reasonable offers.

A lot of Koa-neck-thru-P/J-light-weight goodness for not a lot of dough. The neck on this thing is sweet and the electronics are all in working order.
