For sale is my Peavey Dyna Bass Neck Through (Unity series).
This bass is in Black finish with ebony fingerboard and P/J configuration and the original first run Dyna Bass electronics featuring a killer preamp with 3 band EQ. Black hardware including the Schaller roller bridge.
Aesthetically this bass gets pretty high marks but it is something of a players bass in the sense that there is dulling from pick wear and arm wear in the usual spots, a couple of minor dings and scratches and an extra strap button drill hole on the lower horn (all pictured). But the black finish hides it all very well and she is overall a good looker. She is also missing one original knob and another has missing ribber trim. Both can probably be replaced by Peavey as they have cracker-jack customer service and tech support departments and if not an OEM instrument knob catalog should get you close.
In all this bass is a pleasure to play. Countoured body, electronics, top grade harware, MOP dot markers, and neck through design share key elements with the greatest Peavey basses from the heyday-- the Sarzo, TL series, etc. She just sings and the notes pop off. Like these older high qualityPeavey's it has the build and feel of a much more expensive custom made bass.
