US Made Peavey Forum bass, circa 1993. Amazingly good shape! I got it from a guitarist who had it as his in-house bass (that never really got used).
Only a few scrapes on the edges, but looks much newer than it is.
The bass has an amazing feel and an even better tone. Peavey wasn't messing around when they put these together! The Jazz pickup is a dual-coil humcancelling pickup. I was so floored by this bass that I've decided to find a higher-end Peavey and this has to go in order to do that.
MODS I DID:
Finished the neck in TruOil (it feels like a Musicman now)
Added the Gotoh brass bridge (because I had it here and the bent plate one was lame).
Restrung with D'Addario steels and setup with low action.
Specs:
34" Scale
Between 8 and 9 lbs (my scale sucks)
1.5" nut
21 frets (very little wear)
Includes a nice gig bag, the old parts, and old strings (if you want 'em).
$250 and I'll split the shipping cost with you. Paypal only.
(I see a lot of Chinese or Indonesian Squiers used on TB going for more than this and I guarantee that this bass will kick the stuffing out of those for tone, feel, and construction.)
