FS: Peavey Foundation 5

Bought this last year, but don't use it all that much, and could use the cash. I believe it's a 2000 or 2001, red, maple neck and board. Newer "Cirrus-shaped" single coils that sound great. Really reminds me of a J bass overall. It's a player's bass, so there are chips and scratches and dings on the body, but nothing major. Action can get fairly low. Asking $200 shipped OBO, shipped in a gig bag and packed well.. PM me with questions or anything else.

I would buy it, but it haven't P-style pickup at neck position.

These are great basses, solid sounding, very comfortable necks and indestructible.

While it does not have a p style pickup, soloing the neck pickup does a good pbass tone, to my ear. I A/B'd it to a couple youtube videos of soloed pbasses and it was very close. main difference was that i had hum as these are single coils.

This one sounds great. I'm having second thoughts about selling it!

Looks like 1 11/16" at the nut, 2 3/8" at the 12th fret.

You may be right Riis. Not fond of maple boards, but since I sold my StingRay and the Low End Om, I don't have a bass with maple board.

Hmmm....
