Black Peavey G-bass with added Hipshot detuner. Warning, the detuner didn't really want to go in there, but I got it to work.
That in itself wound kinda make it a "Franken" bass, I guess. What really puts it over the top, is the actual vinyl sticker of Frankenstein's monster on the bass. Totally removable, but totally cool at the same time.
Frankenbass...ah, I just kill me sometimes.

Never realized that there was paint chipping on the bottom of the bass; have added pic of that, as well as a pic of the heighths of the tuners to show what the D-tuner post looks like. Not pretty, but it works just fine.
