FS: Peavey Fury, mid 80's? Natural ash grain

Sign in to disble this ad
Here's a beauty I recently picked up. Nice Ash grain pattern, neck feels wonderful. Nice low action. Right now its at Fender spec 3mm@17 fret.(I'm a hard right hander), but can go lower to accommodate the more precise player.
Fingerstyle sounds great as usual, but this bass comes ALIVE when slapped!! Holy cow, I'm not kidding.

I am really digging the fllat necks and smaller body of my Peavey Millennium. With my Carpal Tunnel, Tendonitis and Arthritis I need the flattest necks I can get. So away the Fury goes. She's got a standard "C" shaped neck.

Plays awesome! Sounds Awesome. Just had it professionally set-up. How can you go wrong? At this price, you can't lose.
Selling for $300 $280 $255 shipped to your doorstep by way of Fed-ex.

Comes shipped with original case. GREAT condition. 'lil buckle rash on back, and normal rash on pickguard. Screw on a new PG and she'll look as NEW!! Truss rod works easily both ways, and NO screws in bridge or anywhere else are stuck.

Only trade I'd be interested in is a US Made Peavey Millennium standard.

restoring one (1989 Peavey Fury) now and looking for a replacement pickguard, these are an under-rated bass. I love the way the necks feel. Good luck on your sell.

To The TOP for a Peavey that Rocks,.......obviously I'm not a rapper

I actually don't know. I'll speculate that these were released first with the awesome "Super Ferrite" pickup. Then, I guess, they switched to the basic P-Bass pickup to save on costs.
Another answer could be that they were available in two configurations, the Super Ferrite being the UPGRADED model. Definitely sounds great.
My Father-in-Law is fixing our car and now I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts.... Act now if you want her before it's too late.
