SOLD: Peavey G-Bass, black pearl

SOLD

$350 Paypal shipped USPS Parcel Post CONUSA takes a really nice Peavey G-Bass in black pearl with a nice Protec gig bag.

This 4-string bass has a 35" scale graphite neck with a 21 fret pau ferro fretboard. The electronics include a single active VFL pickup with volume, treble, mid, and bass controls. Check the link to my purchase from another TB'er for pictures. The only thing that has changed is that I put on a new set of La Bella Hard Rockin' Steels (040-095) and I colored in the scratch on side of the lower bout with a sharpie. Keen eyes will notice that the upper fret markers are also slightly canted toward the E-string. There are also some very shallow dings on the back of the bass. Overall, this is a beautiful bass that I would rate as an 8 out of 10; looks fantastic but has a few flaws.

Try a great playing USA made graphite neck bass for a modest investment.

I only sold this bass because I found another one in a different color that I liked better. I love, love, LOVE my G-Bass. My tech did a setup on my current G about 6 weeks ago or so and still hasn't stopped raving about how great the neck is. He claims it's the closest thing he's ever tried to a 60s Jazz neck.

Tim... thanks for the thought. I will definitely miss this bass. But, I'm currently gassin' for fivers (TL-5/Millenium/G-V) and older wooden neck USA Peaveys (Foundation/T-20/T-40) and needed to refill the GAS tank.

Plus, I still have my B-Quad 4 to more than satisfy my love of graphite and piezos.

I would love that B-Quad 4 forever. Even if it were the Blue Green one.

Hey... I actually like my blue-green B-Quad 4... but a gloss natural or transparent black would be "to die for." Make that a B-Quad 5 in either of those colors and nirvana is near...
