Hello all,
I just picked this up last Friday, but I'm more of a Spector man so I bought PhatBasstard's upgraded Legend 6... Needless to say I must recoup the funds by selling this off.
An excellent bass for the price, the Peavey Grind has received good reviews, earning the "Editor's Choice" award in December 2002 from Bass Player magazine. It's a solidly built neck-thru bass with a scalloped bottom horn for more slapping room.
Here's the specs off of Peavey's website:
-35" Scale
-24 Frets
-Imbuya (or mahogany? not sure) body wings
-Mahogany/Maple necks
-Passive Humbuckers
I believe the fingerboard is rosewood. In the nature of full disclosure, there is some fingerboard wear before the first fret. Nothing to "fret" about.

The bass is overall a little scuffed, with no real dings or scratches to speak of. The electronics work perfectly with no audible scratching, etc. I'll get better pictures tomorrow morning... Maybe. I'm making breakfast for my girlfriend in the morning
I'm getting it set up with brand new D'addarios. It will be shipped out in an excellent condition Guitar Research hardshell case and a leather strap.
I'm asking
$350$325 shipped CONUS.
