As much as it pains me to move this beauty, my GV has become my main axe, so I'm going to try and move this to get another. This is a 2001, I believe. Tiger Eye finish, pau ferro fingerboard, 18v Millennium preamp, VFL pickup at the bridge, stacked humbucker at the neck. Neck is thin front to back, string spacing is around 17.5mm at the bridge. This thing sound awesome, and has an aggressive tone that would work well in a rock band. I had another Mill 5 and it was more polite than this one. Lots of growl!
In the interest of full disclosure, this bass is not pristine. It's been played and has some dings and scratches here and there, but nothing major. There are two dents on the front-bottom edge, which are in one of the pics. There are also scratches on the back, although nothing too bad. There was some finish flaking off near the control cavity, but I was able to super glue it back on. Looks like a scratch now. The nut was filed too low when I ot it, so I removed it, added plastic to the bottom to raise it, then glued it back in. When I removed the nut, part of the surrounding wood chipped off, but I glued it back on. You can see it if you look closely. There is alo a dent in the fingerboard at the fifth fret, if you look in the right light.
Asking $475 shipped in a Roadrunner gig bag, to the conus only. PM me with questions or offers. Thanks!
