So, like everyone who sells a great bass, I hate to sell this, but I need a different bass for an upcoming band I'll be playing in. It's in excellent condition and plays like butter. I will post pictures sometime tonight. Price is $450.00 including conus shipping. The only trade I'd consider is some sort of 3 tone sunburst jazz bass. These Randy Jackson models are very hard to find. Neck through, active electronics, P/J pups, mid range control is tweakable as to what frequency it boosts/cuts, ebony neck and more. One picture shows the contour of the bass. Another picture shows a chip in the paint on the neck. It's about the size of a bb. It doesn't interfere with fingering or being able to move around the fretboard. Otherwise it's in fantastic condition and is set up perfectly. Comes with hard shell case too.

I'll vouch for it being a great bass when properly setup

Good article. That dip switchable mid is really a strong suit of this bass. The ebony fretboard, contoured body, drop d tuner, P/J pup configuration makes this an exceptionally versatile and useful bass.

I will include a copy of the Randy Jackson bass instructional video. It's out of print and very good. I can't remember if it is a vhs tape or not, but it will be included in the sale.

I got a chance to play one of these years ago and was FLOORED by how nice it was.
It had a very nice tone, was built with love, and I couldn't believe it wasn't worth twice the price.

GLWTS bump...

"Enjoy my old signature bass, dawg!"

If finances allow, I may keep this. Really surprised there has only been a tire kicker or two even after 2 weeks or so. A top notch bass for almost any application. Plays great too.

These are great basses, very similar to the Sarzo. I have had a few RJ IVs 2 silverburst, 2 pinkburst and a blueburst.

Not only are they great basses, you rarely see them come up for sale. IMO this is a steal
