FS: Peavey Unity Series 4 string bass (parts/project bass)

**UPDATE- now with pics**

I have for sale an old Peavey Unity series bass that I had planned to fix up but just don't have the time or tools to do it. The main repair that needs to be done on this bass is that the trussrod nut has broken off so the trussrod needs to be replaced. I tried to remove the fretboard with some heating strips but whatever Peavey used to glue the fretboard to the neck isn't softening hardly at all. I even called them up and talked directly to their main guitar tech and he doesn't even know what they used back then, hehe. Also the heating process melted some of the dot inlays but those can be easily replaced. Other than that, the electronics work fine but need some tending to (this is one of the active basses, not the Koa passive) and the body and hardware are in overall good shape. This neck-through bass is white with gold hardware that shows some wear from years of use and has a nice tummy contour on the back. I am selling this bass plus a replacement trussrod for $100 plus shipping. if nothing else this could be used as a parts bass, but these are really nice basses when they're in good repair. To my knowledge, these were their top American basses before the debut of the Cirrus. I will post pics early next week.

I was wondering if the knobs, battery compartment and back cover would fit. Thanks for your help.

I'm really not certain of that. I don't have much experience with the older Sarzo bass. I would assume that the parts would work since it seems to me that it was based off of the Unity series but don't quote me on that hehe.

Sorry it's taking so long guys, I don't own a camera other than the one on my phone and it sucks. I'm borrowing one tomorrow so I should have the pics up either tomorrow night or Thursday morning.

I do have the truss rod cover and the nut, just had them off to show that the truss rod is indeed broken.
