FS: Peavey USA Foundation 5 String! Near Mint!

This is a great bass that I got in a trade a short while ago. The bass is fantastic sounding and is very well built. I am kinda on the edge about selling it, but I don't see it getting much use, so I'm going to put it out there and see if it gets much attention.

The bass is very clean. No major scratches or dents. The only flaw is on the back right about the control cavity there is a very small paint chip. Other than that she's super clean.

The bass sounds very "jazzy" and can pull that Fender jazz sound very easily.

I'm about to start a metal/hardrock band and am looking for something with more bite.

The paint chip, and yes, that is the plastic still on the back cover!!!

Price: 250 shipped with a hardshell case. I know this is a peavey, but this is a USA made bass in near mint condition. this is a much better value than any MIM Fender bass out there!

Would you be interested in a Foundation four with a Hipshot D-tuner installed?

FS/FT: Peavey Foundation

You can see pics of the bass before I installed the Hipshot D-tuner. I still have the original tuner too. The bass is not in pristine condition, but the D-tuner is a $70 upgrade.

I'm still open to a trade, but you won't break my heart if you say no. I finally took my Foundation out again last night after I gave it's new setup time to settle in. The new set up, plus those new Rotosound strings make for one killer bass. I was playing the Marcus Miller version of "Boogie on Reggae Woman," and the bass sounded as good as anybody's 1970s Jazz!

thanks for the bump cheese. i have been considering your offer, but as of right now, i must decline. i'm really looking for something other than another foundation.

i have a possible trade in the works as well as a buyer interested just to let everyone know.
