FS: Peavey USA Millennium Plus 4 String

Sign in to disble this ad
Here is it, the bass that defines 'modern classic'. These will go down in history as some of the best ever. However, I'm a Warwick guy and this needs to go to somebody who can appreciate it.

$550 shipped to the lower 48.
I'm in South Carolina, and will give priority to folks closest to me.
In fact, I'll knock $30 off the price if you're in SC, NC, or GA.
No trades unless you'll trade for a German Warwick 5 string with no cash coming from me.

This is the real deal made in the USA Peavey Millennium Plus model.
35" scale
Pau Ferro Fingerboard
Hipshot bridge & tuners w/extender on E string
Flame Maple top
Transparent Teal finish on front & back
Millennium 18v preamp with bass, treble, blend, volume, and stacked sweepable mid control.
Active MM/J pickup configuration.
Hardshell case.
New batteries and new Dunlop Nickel strings (which are different from the ones pictured). She's ready to go!

Super condition. No major dings or chips. Just normal swirl marks and playing wear. I kept it obsessively clean, and the fingerboard oiled. It still has the plastic on the back covers. Don't mistake that for 'mint' condition by any means, it's used. But there is nothing out of the ordinary about the condition.

If you need specific pictures of something, let me know! I don't know why I didn't get a full body shot. I'll get one though!

Lots of super high res pictures here:

(Pictures 1,2,3, and 4 are the same ones you see in this thread)

Killer basses. Peavey is my all time favorite bass maker !

I must know what kind of camera you're using. The front headstock photo is hi-def. Amazing !

Thanks folks! Glad you like the pictures My camera is a Pentax K100d digital SLR. Man I love the thing. I got it a couple of years ago and I've taken thousands of pictures with it. A digital SLR is the way to go. It costs a little more, but it's the last digital camera you'll need. For a long while, anyway. Those pictures were taken right before sundown as well, and I had really good light. It was kinda like indirect sunlight.

And not to derail my own thread here, but I just have to share one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken with it. I just love this picture:

Free bump for a hot bass and a cool cat. I bet my kitten, Stanley Humbucker, would enjoy playing together with him (or her?).

What is it with bass players and cats ? I'm not sure which I love more ! I will check out that pentax. I just bought a Sony Cybershot. It's great so far. This photo was taken with my old HP Photosmart.
Wait, what's this thread about again ?

How old is it bro? Just curious. Also is the face of the headstock contoured or is it just the lighting that makes it look that way?

Bass is SOLD pending payment. But what a great thread this turned into

But to answer some questions:
I'm sure sure how old it is. I'm not even sure what years they produced these. It's not very old though.

The headstock is not contured, but that is a cool lighting effect!

The cats are not free, but heres Bucky and his sister AJ when they were just wee kitties:

And here they are a few months ago:

Dogs are boys -- they're sold.. Cats are girls.. they're always free.

There's some type of international rule about this.
