I am selling my Pedulla MVP4 4 string bass in white, ebony fretboard. This bass is a passive bass with Bartolini pickups. It is all original and Made in the USA. Cosmetically, there are a couples dings on the headstock (please see the pictures) and some small dings around the edge of the body, the front and back look great. The bass sounds great, but I many too basses and time to trim down. The neck looks great, straight. Frets looks great and shows little use. The trust rod works fine, all the electronics works perfectly. Weights a little over 9 lbs. It comes with original hard case. I am asking $1175 shipped within the USA or make me an reasonable offer. Paypal only please. I can ship outside the USA if you pay for actual cost of shipping. I am not sure the year it was made and its serial number is 0223. Here is Pedulla website:

Reduced to $950 shipped without case or $995 shipped with case

I am not sure it is a Series 2, it just says MVP on the headstock and Made In the USA

Well, based on the fact that it is a bolt on and from what I can read of the serial #, it is a Series 2 built in 1990.

Yes. Having said that though, I rarely see them for sale so it is tough to put a price tag on it.

The series IIs were the barebones, no frills model (i.e. passive, plastic rear control plate, standard solid color finishes, bolt on instead of neckthrough)
Pedullas version of Metros and Skylines, except still made by Pedulla in the USA

They were still made in the USA though so the quality should be on par with other pedullas

Yes, these were made in the SAME shop as all other Pedullas. I think these were the first attempt at lesser priced instruments than the MVP, the precursor to the Thunderbolts and Thunderbasses. I have never played one of these, but I am sure the quality is great like everything that Mike does. I think this is probably a pretty fair price.

It is a series 2. I have owned several Pedulla's, including a very similar series 2. I bought it for $600 about 6 years ago through bassgear.com classifieds. I don't have it any longer, but it was a decent bass.

Nice bass. I'v owned a Series II 5 string since 1991. Mine is Bart soapbars
& active. My main gig bass and no issues in 20 years.
Good luck with the sale.
