I picked this bass up just over a year ago here on TB. It's served me well but is just not seeing as much use as it deserves.

My disclaimer is that the battery box makes a scratch/pop noise when it's bumped and would need to be addressed before gigging with it. Otherwise, the bass is still in great shape. This issue can be and has been remedied using pOk's suggestion below.

I'm looking primarily for cash, but if someone has a black and maple Fender American Standard Precision they want to trade plus cash, I'd be open for that.

The bass comes with the original Pedulla hard case and truss rod tool, and I'm looking for $1000 shipped.

Pics and detailed specs from the original post are below. If anyone wants current pics, though, I can take some quick iPhone shots.

Thanks.
Bryan

I had a couple rapture battery boxes that did that...just fold up a little piece of paper to push the battery closer to the connectors and you're good to go! Assuming its the same issue...

pOk, thanks for the tip, I'll try that tonight.

From memory, the bass is between 9 and 9.5 lbs. I'll get an exact weight tonight.

That's probably close enough. Thanks. I'm interested, but there only so much $$ spread around, so...

So...someone's going to be heart broken when you pick up this sweet bass?

In response to some questions I've received... the bass weighs right at 10 lbs but the balance makes it seem super light.

The action is nice and low with absolutely no fret buzz or dead spots.
