FS: PROJECT AXL Badwater Crackle Brown 4-String w/EMGs - Price Reduced!

I have a brand new, dead mint condition AXL Badwater 4-String Precision-Style bass guitar in a very cool Crackle Brown finish that would make a great PROJECT bass. I'm looking for $100 shipped in the US.

This bass has never been played. But there is one problem -- the neck is slightly warped. There is a front bow starting at about the 15th fret.

The bass features an EMG-designed split pickup, a solid alder body, distressed hardware and a crackle brown body finish that looks like lizard skin. The crackle brown is an actual finish applied to the body, not a photo or decal. The AXL Badwater bass also features a Maple C-shaped bolt-on neck, Rosewood fingerboard, 34" scale and is 1 5/8" at the nut. Controls are one Volume and one Tone knob.

This bass is in dead mint condition and even has a brand new set of D'Addario flatwound strings on it. It has never been played (obviously because it won't play in tune with the neck warped). All the parts and electronics work as they should. The bass sounds really good and would probably sound even better if it were in tune and the neck wouldn't buzz all over the place! This would make a great PROJECT bass for someone. The neck can be replaced with a Fender-type neck, or if you're really ambitious, you can take off the fingerboard, plane the neck straight and put it all back together again. Or, if you, prefer, cannibalize it for the parts and use them in other projects.

I don't have a case with this bass, but it will be shipped and securely packaged in its original shipping box. Shipping is to the US only by UPS ground.

Remember, this AXL Badwater is a PROJECT bass and is not playable in its present condition. It needs either a new neck, or extensive repairs on the existing neck. But everything else is mint and works perfectly.

Again, I'm asking $100 shipped in the US for a great, dead mint PROJECT bass. I need to unload this one because it's taking up space and I don't have the time or energy to repair it.

PM me with any questions.
