G.A.S. got the better of me (again!) & now I am the proud owner of a HRR Fender Jaguar bass (older model w/ matching headstock)... I love the way it looks & feels, but it is due some serious modding in the electronics dept. (I see a P-bass p/u & all passive elec's in it's immediate future); got to make up the money that I bought it with first... & then there is that whole Christmas thing coming up ("Hey kids... Sorry about the lack of presents, but look at Daddy's cool new bass!").
I will most likely be listing some basses for sale here soon, but for now here are some projects that I have had laying around gathering dust (I am posting a few pictures of each, but I have a lot more pic's available... If you are interested, please ask).
All prices are negotiable, shipping is additional, but I will only charge actual shipping (Fedex, insured; I prefer signature required, but that will be up to you). No cases or gigbags are included with any of these.p
First up: SOLD! Here is a Epiphone Rivolli reissue that I bought a few years ago. I listed it about a month ago here for sale for $450 shipped, but I am now obviously more desperate & being a whole lot more realistic about selling this instrument:

First the bad: 1- It has a "USED" stamp on the back of the headstock. 2- It has a crack in the neck at the nut (It has not been repaired... Better than being fixed with gorilla glue or something). 3- It has a repaired area around the neck joint (This may be where the "USED" stamp came from?). 4- The action is "medium-high" with bridge as low as possible (I have a couple of thoughts on how to deal with this...I will be glad to share with interested parties). 5- It looks pretty much "Beat to Hell ".
The Good: 1- Electronics are fully functional, 2- The neck is straight & the truss rod works. 3- The bass is fully playable as-is (as I mentioned in a previous thread, the bass plays perfectly fingerstyle, but when I use a pick, it does get some fret buzz... Yes, I do play hard when I use a pick). 4- The bass sounds incredible!(If your into the whole semi-hollow short-scale bass thing).
Price is SOLD!
Next: SOLD!!! Epiphone Fender(sort of)Bird. Included is a completely loaded (& functioning) Epi T-Bird body (Includes Neckplate,Screws & Tuning keys). A Stagg 34" scale maple neck w/rosewood f-board is in excellent condition (straight, truss rod works... headstock trimmed) & Yes, you get the "End of the world" pickguard at no extra charge (Stock Epi 'guard painted over).:

The body has been routed to fit the Stagg neck (Very close, if not exact to Fender square-heel neck specs.). The neck has some really nice flame... just needs to be stripped (sanded) down & have some Tru-oil or other finish applied (The neck will need to have the tuner holes plugged & redrilled to fit the smaller Epi tuners or you can use a set of larger F-style tuners). It will not take a lot to finish this one out.
Price is $SOLD!!!.
Last is a Squier Vintage Modified Tele Bass (Minus pickup & electronics):SOLD!!!

I bought this & installed a Peavey T-40 pickup in it (There is a thread on this bass somewhere in the "Bass" section). Very little wood removal was necessary & the Bass totally rocked (had a push/pull coil tap on the volume control), but it ended up sitting in the rack, never to be used, so I pulled the pickup & controls & will be using them in one of my Moonshine Basses. Don't remember if I trimmed the pickguard, but if I did, it wasn't by much (I test fit a real Fender Tele Bass p/u, the Squier one should be close, if not exact). The body has some dings here & there, the neck is straight & the truss rod works. The only other thing I can think of is the "G" tuner has had it's key "JB welded" on (I believe... It totally works, but I remember something about that from when I bought it a couple of years ago).
Price is SOLD.
That's all for now. If you are interested & need more info., please contact me. Thanks!
