I've played this bass. If I had a need for a 4 string, I would be all over this bass. Good luck with the sale, but I think you're nuts if you get rid of it.

I owned this bass for at least two years. One of the best! If you want to give the previous owner a half price deal let me know.

Aaaaaaand, it is open again. I have fallen in love (again) with Fender jazzes, so cash is king for this exotic beauty.

Ray Rogers builds about 15 intruments a year out of his one man operating shop in Puerto Rico, and his work is superb!

there are a few cash plus trade scenarios i will listen to....

a macbook from 2008 or newer plus a bunch of cash
a fender 50's p bass in black or fiesta red plus a bunch of cash
fender MIJ jazz reissues with rosewood boards and matching headstocks plus a bunch of cash

and one very specific one...
a lakland JO5 in LPB or another fun color from the early production skylines, plus a bunch of cash.

thanks for looking!

plays insanely fast. feels like a jazz neck but 33 inch scale.

definitely a bass that is made for long gigs, weighing 7.5ish lbs, balancing perfectly and playing effortlessly. not to mention an active/passive switch for emergencies.
