FS: Rare Handmade 1977 Odyssey Bass

Another beauty I stumbled upon, late 70's masterpiece Handmade in Canada (another very nice lefty version is for sale on TB right now). I bought a ton of basses recently and need to sell at least 1-2 of them, going to put this one up, if the other(s) sell will keep it. The early 80's Pedulla from TB'er Tall&Stout is the one I am likely to keep as my main bass. This thing is killer, reminds me of an Alembic in many ways. Not sure of all the woods, but I do know this is what I believe is the Model 100 which is the highest level one they made (it has herringbone binding on neck and the top of the body, plus the fancier inlays and top wood). GREAT shape for its age, the marks on the front are just where the color has shaded with age, looks like finish is worn but it actually is not. Passive Barts (P/U select V/V/T) and handmade brass tailpiece, bridge, knobs, and gold schaller tuners. Neck is VERY fast, on the slimmer/flatter side and plays effortlessly. Fairly heavy, I would guess 10lbs +, but feels good on not too bad, very similar to some 80's Alembics I have had and weighed similarly. Tone is clear and punchy, just a great bass all around!!

Looking for $1,250 shipped with brand new HSC. Other basses sell this one is staying...

Adam, you always get the coolest basses. How do you "stumble" upon these?

Too much time on the internet man!! I have bought alot of stuff lately on purpose so I could try out some different basses, I just wish I could keep them all. I really did end up with a bunch of "winners" that I really like...

As far as trades go, would rather do straight sale....MAY consider pedals or amp + cash, or a very easily flipable bass i.e a Fender. Thanks
