This is a Westbury track IV bass, finely crafted in the matsumoku factory between 78' and 82'. Really hard to find. The bass is in good condition. Neck is straight and frets are in great shape. Comes with fresh elixir roundwounds. It has various scratches and dings from the years. It is missing the back electronics panel but that could be made easily. The pickups work and sound great but the pots could use a cleaning or maybe replacing. Comes in really beat up OHSC for protection during shipping.
Here's some info on it:
The Track IV Westbury Bass has a long-reach double cut-away body cut into the same shape as the Westbury Track II except the Track IV has an arched and carved top and has a set neck where as the Track II is a bolt on. The body is made from Canadian Hard Rock Maple. The back has a rear hip contour and the neck has dot inlays and a Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware included Oversized, Close Ratio tuning machines, Dual Split-coil pickups, one Tone and 2 volume knobs, a Die-cast bridge assembly (fully adjustable) and a rear body contor. It is very solid, and has some weight to it. It's a high end quality made early 80's Japanese bass.
