Handmade by Bill Merchant in NYC. IMO - This compares to Pensa, Sadowsky and other high-end basses. This bass was made for Grammy Award Winning Bassist Irio O'Farrill, I purchased it from him when I was at The Collective years back. The bass is in excellent condition and has been "babied" throughout it's life. It was just set up by Ron Blake from Blake Guitars, has new strings and a dressed fretboard. This is a great playing and sounding bass and is priced to sell. You won't be disappointed!
