FS - Reverend Rumblefish

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD LOCALLY

Well, I kind of hate to do this, but could use the cash more than I could use the bass.

Up for sale is my Reverend Rumblefish. 4 string, Aged White with a Gold pickguard, did not have volume and tone knobs when I acquired it - so I put some black ones on (if you prefer chrome, I can put chrome on instead before I ship). Currently strung with DR Black Beauties with less than 3 hours of play on them. If you really despise the Black Beauties, I'll happily buy a set of strings and restring before shipping (just add the cost of the strings to the price).

In solid shape, I've checked over for dents/dings and not found any. Number and initials on back of headstock are fading - they are 01624 and ZSG.

Will ship with a Reverend gig bag.

Only issue that I've found is that the "white wall" sides are getting a bit dirty-looking in spots.

All this can be yours for $725 shipped CONUS (think of it as $675+ shipping, if that helps). Willing to consider trade + cash scenarios involving (but not necessarily limited to): Epiphone Thunderbirds, Ibanez Iceman, Epiphone EB 3, Fender P's or J's, Schecter basses. Disclaimer - not really looking for amps right now.

Nice! That's my favorite Reverend color combination. I'd grab it, but I'm bass-heavy as it is. Somebody will gladly take it off your hands though! Good luck...

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the gold, but it's grown on me. Thought about changing the pickguard, but never did go through with it. Thanks!

I never really got the white/gold color combo that Reverend did. I'm tempted to buy this just to see how it would look and sound converted to P/J with a tort pickguard.

I think that tort would probably work well on it. I've never ventured into pickup mods, so I can't comment there, but tort would probably go nicely with the aged white.

With a G&L or DiMarzio ceramic-magnet P-pickup, you'd have a killer bass very much like a Rev factory P/J.

Hey, I've done a little looking into it. I'm not sure about shipping to Italy. In the little research I've done, it looks like that would cost in the neighborhood of $500 - $600 just to ship. You can PM me your exact shipping address and I'll double check, but I'm not sure that it's really worth the additional shipping cost.

My inclination is to say, sorry, but not able to work it out.
