FS: Rick Turner Renaissance 6-strings Fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is my RARE 6-strings lined fretless Rick Turner Renaissance bass.

This bass sounds like no other fretless. If you ever played a Renaissance you know that the quality of craftsmanship and sound of these instruments is second to none. I would not sell it but unfortunately I have a financial situation to resolve and I must part from this bass.

Here is a link to a review video by Ed Friedland for the fretted version of this bass: ‪Turner Renaissance 6-String Bass‬‏ - YouTube

The bass is in almost-mint condition. "Almost", because it has a very tiny nick on the headstock which I hardly could catch with my camera (see pics). This does not affect in any way sound or playability.

I just put on it a brand new set of Thomastic Acousticore strings (cost me $113!! - your gain)

Specs:
  • Koa Top and Back
  • 35" Scale Length
  • 19mm String Spacing at Bridge
  • Mahogany Neck and Bridge
  • Lined Fretless Rosewood Fingerboard
  • Super-light bass (around 7lbs)
  • Semi-Hollow Acoustic Chambered Body
  • Piezo Bridge Pickup with 18V Timberline System
  • Turner Gig Bag

$2,400 $2,350 $2,300 Shipped.
PayPal is OK. Not interested in any trades. Will ship with the original gig bag and packed extremely well and protected.

Here come the pics...

One of the few non-upright basses that you can use on a straight ahead gig. Love my 5 string

Bump!
Reasonable offers are welcome and will be seriously considered, no low-ballers please.

Must sell this bass.
