FS: Rickenbacker 4001V63, MapleGlo, 1997, rare 19th fret dot marker!
According to Paul Boyer’s awesome Rickenbacker bass book, it’s quite rare because it has the dot marker at the 19th fret. Most of the 4001V63 basses don’t have that dot marker.
This bass is in excellent condition. No body dings or dents. Beautiful grain, and even the back of the neck has a little flame to it.
Just the headstock has a few small nicks at the top, and there is some fretwear on the first few frets on the A string. No buzzing at all though. Plays perfectly. Low action too.
New D’Addario Nickel strings installed. 45-100.
Nut width is 1 ¾”, and it weighs 9.7 lbs. Slightly heavier than other Rics I’ve had, but very loud, clear, and full sounding.
Comes with a slightly modified EBMM Stingray hardshell case that fits it perfectly. No movement at all inside.

The only trade I’m interested in at this time would be for a 5 string Rickenbacker bass.
