I have a Gorgeous 1987-88 Made In Japan '62 P- Bass, Sunburst w/ rosewood that plays and sounds amazing.

It's one of the REALLY good ones, better than the majority of USA and Custom shops that I've owned.(Obviously its the one in the upper left of the pic)

Perfect weight and balance, its my couch bass, kinda hard to put down.

I replaced the pickup with a Duncan QP and put on a BadAss II,(of course I have the original pickup and bridge) and it sounds and plays SO nicely.

I'm on a Ric kick right now(see the Fiesta Red P-Bass w/ Ric pickups that I just did!) otherwise I wouldn't even consider selling this one, you're catching me at a weak moment!!!

I also have a few other really nice basses I would consider trading.

The bass weighs 9.2 lbs (on a digital scale).

The letters on the plate are gone, sorry, for the life of me I just can't make anything out.

I've had this Rick since 2004, but it's not getting played much at all. It's mostly original except for the pickguards and truss rod cover, and the strap pegs (I think). The truss cover was officially traded in to Rickenbacker for the black replacement one (silver lettering), and the pickguards are from Warmoth IIRC. The original white pickguard is included as is the original case (faded Rick logo).

Plays nice, sounds nice. Minor wear and tear, and one small nick in the neck. One of the case latches is a little stubborn/sticky. I'll start it off here for $1550 plus shipping. I may not answer PM's right away so please be patient.
