Up for sale is my Midnite Blue Ric 4003. I bought it new in June 2007. It is in mint condition. As this is a spur of the moment sale I will check for any blemishes tonight and update if I find anything. I don't expect to. Has push/pull vintage switch. Comes with OHSC. I think it even has the case candy.
The bass has been on back up duty for most of the last 2 years so hasn't seen much action.
There was my first Ric in over 25 years so it's kind of my baby. I have one other 4003 that gets a lot of playing time and I recently bought a SR4 HH that is really getting a lot of playing time.
I am asking $1,600.00 US shipped in CONUS or Canada. Paypal is cool.
I will still consider EBMM HH styles on trade but that is a bit a long shot now as I bought a Sterling 5-er from a fellow TBer a couple of days ago.
Thanks for looking!

I don't "have" to unload it but I am gassing for some other basses. I just bought an SR4 and if I showed up with something else before X-mas....well.....let's just say that X-mas might be lonely.

| | | | Very nice Rick. I like that color. How's the neck? Thin or thick? Two piece or single? Are the poles adjustable? |

Thin or thick I guess is a matter of opinion. It is thicker than my 2009 SR4 but thinner than a 2004 Ric 4003 that I had. It is a neck-thru, not bolt on if that is what you are asking. Yes the poles are adjustable.
I have had a couple of inquiries about the weight - 9 lbs by my scale.

| | | | Is the neck the two piece construction like the ones currently being made? Or is it the single piece construction like they were making about a year ago? Last years, one piece construction was prety heafty. The current ones are thinner. Which one do you have? |

I am thinking it is a 1 piece though just by the heft of it.
