SOLD ... Up for sale is a 2008 Rickenbacker 4004L (Laredo) in Fireglo. I am the original owner of this bass, which was purchased in 2009 from North Coast Music. The warranty information tells me that this one was built in August of 2008. This bass is
easily a 9 of 10. With a very close inspection, I found three pinhead-sized depressions in the finish that aren't visible unless held to light perfectly (one on the top of the neck by the 8th fret, one beside the bridge, and the other below the tone knob). There are also a few very light surface scratches... again, very minor. None of these imperfections could be captured with my camera.
I measured 1.75" at the nut (Rick website says 1 5/8) and it weighs 8.5 lb. on my bathroom scale (Rick website says 8.0 lbs). Not looking for trades right now, and I am asking $1400 shipped to CONUSA. Includes original RIC hardshell case (also in great shape). For some additional pictures, check out:
