FS - Rickenfaker!

Very reluctantly selling my Hondo 2 Rickenfaker to raise some cash towards my new Warwick that's on it's way to me.

Lovely bass - very good quality, and collectible. Made in Japan between 1974 and 1983. The serial number would have been on the jack plate, but the previous owner changed it when he converted it from stereo to mono! (I've also recently replaced the input jack as the one he put in wasn't very good!)

The bridge pickup and the tuners were also replaced by the previous owner.

It's recently had a full set up, new strings and a fret dress, and comes with it's original hard case.

Fret board is bound and laquered and nicely polished by yours truly. Electrics all work fine and have recently been cleaned.
There are a few small chips in the finish consistent with it's age

There's an initial photo attached, I'll take some more today and post them up.

$387 (£250) or nearest offer plus shipping from the UK. I'll ship to lower 48 states and within the UK.

PM me for more details!

More pictures as promised. I only have a cell phone camera so they're not as good quality as they should be but not bad...

Just cash I'm afraid dude. Just made a purchase from a fellow TB'er and need to recoup some cash!

FedEx have given me the best quote I've found so far for that Zip. International economy is showing as £87 ($137) but I've no idea how long their transit times are on economy.
If I find a cheaper quote, I'll let you know

Shipping to Canada could be considered, let me know if you want me to find a quote!

PS... could someone let me know what documents I need to attach for customs (UK and US)? I'd like to get them organised just in case... thanks!

If I could only justify another 4 banger.. And from what I have seen, the price is a steal for this bass!!!
