I need to thin out some more great basses. No trades please, I need the money.

All prices include shipping and insurance in the 48 states only. I'll ship anywhere, you just have to cover the extra cost.

#1: This is a beautiful fretless Mouse from Rob Allen. It's been lightly used but is in excellent condition. The figured walnut top is beautiful, I couldn't get a full pic without reflections so I included a pic from the previous owner. Alder body, fairly rare walnut neck with lined ebony fingerboard and bridge. Weighs around 6 lbs and sounds tremendous. It has some light scratches on the front and back of the body but it's otherwise clean. Comes in the original hardcase.

Price is $1500 SOLD

#2: This is such a wonderful bass but it's not getting any playing time since I got a second L-2000. It's a rare limited reissue G&L L-1000 in near new condition. The body is alder with a Candy Apple Red metallic finish and a #8 Jazz-width neck. The neck radius is 12" and the fingerboard is rosewood. There's a little dot wood flaw in the fingerboard that's just visual, and a tiny check in the clearcoat by the middle tone knob. This is very lightweight at 8.5 lbs and it plays like a dream. Comes in the original molded G&L hardcase.

Price is $1000 SOLD

#3: I had this one sold before and the buyer backed out. This is a nice Sterling single H 4 string. The body is a beautifully grained 2-piece swamp ash and the fingerboard is rosewood. It's fairly lightweight at 8.7 lbs and in very good condition. The frets have only minor wear, there are some dings and scrapes on the end of the headstock and and on the body but it's all normal wear and pretty minor (see pics). Comes in the original molded hardcase. Very nice bass, plays and sounds great and the Sterling neck is so comfortable.

Price is $750 SOLD

You'll love it with frets. I love my fretless MB-2 but the fretted MB-2 gets more playing time.

Those limited edition L-1000's are da bomb! I recently picked one up myself and it's my new #1. Talk about "rare"- according to Matt DeSilva at Guitar Man (the exclusive G&L dealer selling these for those that don't know) there were only about 20 made...

Brad's stuff is always top drawer.. if I hadn't just snagged mine I'd buy Brad's in a heartbeat! These are really special.

Thanks David, I feel stupid even thinking about letting this one go - I kind of hope it doesn't sell.

I own that Wunkay's sister in the same finish but w/ a maple board. For those who are interested, be aware that photos can't do justice to G&L's candy apple red finish. It's like 3-D gorgeous.

Monster sound too. I own two "vintage" L1Ks and the LE holds its own no problem. The real deal. Someone's going to get a great deal on a rare bird.

I am almost wondering if it would be better to do a Rosewood fretboard since they are easier to take care of. Does rosewood change the tone from the maple? I like the snappy aggressive tone of a MM.
