The ONLY trades I'm interested in are:
-17th Street 5 string
-MusicMan Bongo HH 5 string, no piezo, I really want one with the solid rosewood neck
-Alleva Coppolo KBP-4 with chunky, wide P neck, 8.5 lbs or less, non-maple fingerboard
-Bergantino NV-215 cabinet, clean and all original
First is a very rare limited edition from Rob Allen. I got this new from Rob back in 2009. It's one of two contoured top MB-2s he built, one was this bass and the other was for Pino Palladino. It's got a thin top with no binding and a very generous contour - super comfortable while you're playing. Other upgrades that added to the price are the select grade quilt maple top with matching headstock, the walnut neck, the frets, and the hardcase. I don't know if he's made any more drop tops since these two. The condition is near new, there's just a 1mm ding by the side jack. The neck is super comfy with rolled fingerboard edges and an Indian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The neck is fretted, Rob uses smaller vintage style frets. The body is alder, my favorite body wood for tone. This bass feels and sounds amazing, but it's just not getting enough use, my 5 string MB-2 fretless hogs all my attention. Weight is light at 5.5 lbs, balances perfectly and sounds very full. Comes in the original fancy snakeskin tolex hardcase.

Second is a brand new Music Man Bongo 5 string with the single H pickup. This is one of the recent limited edition Ball Family Reserve Roasted Maple basses. The neck is roasted birdseye maple with an ebony fingerboard and a clear gloss finish. The body finish is called Black Sugar and is an attractive metallic black. The pickup is a single humbucker and the controls are volume, treble, mids, and bass. This is a really tremendous bass but I discovered after I ordered it that I like the HH tone better. Condition is new, just some light scuffs on the plastic covering the pickguard. Weighs 9.4 lbs, which is fairly light for a Bongo 5. Comes in the original molded MM case.

Last is a nice Allparts P bass. Condition is excellent, there are some dings and scuffs but nothing major. Alder body with very clean Candy Apple Red finish, the neck is a little less than P width and a little chunky, very nice feel. There's some flame to the maple and a nice rosewood fingerboard. Light fretwear, medium action, weighs 9 lbs. Tuners are nice Gotoh reissue vintage reverse, P pickup is Tesla alnico in reissue P covers. Sounds like it should, frets might need some attention if you want super low action. Comes in a decent gigbag that fits it snugly, not much padding.
