A recent impulse purchase that I really dig - but unloading alot of stuff to fund a recent bass...nothing new with me
Doug Roomian is a builder out of San Francisco that makes great feeling and sounding basses - I actually owned a fretless also that I got on TB. Hard to find details on him, but if you search you can find some basics.
Specs on this....
- Alder body
- Maple Neck
- Ebony board
- Nice light finish, you can really feel the bass, not a heavy cheap plastic feeling finish
- Neck feels like P width with a nice flatter C shape, not chucky at all
- Passive Barts VVT with a phase switch I believe
- Lightweight, I would guess 8lbs or less
Condition is great - few small nicks and dings but very clean overall. The pics are from store I got it from, my cell wasn't getting very good shots.
Plays and sounds wonderful - seriously as good as some very expensive stuff I have owned.
I don't have a ton into it so selling for $650 shipped via PayPal. Will ship in a gig bag.
For the $$ you would be hard pressed to find a handmade bass this nice - and lately it feels like I have owned them all.
PM with any questions - Thanks
