FS: ROSCOE Century Standard 5

Hi TalkBassists,

Up for sale is a Roscoe Century Standard 5. This was custom ordered with a MAHOGANY body with dark/tobacco sunburst finish. All other specs are consistent with the model (adapted from the Roscoe website...): “flat top” with arm and belly carve; 3-piece all quartersawn maple bolt-on neck with single-action trussrod and dual graphite rod reinforcement; 35" scale; pau ferro fingerboard; Bartolini 3-band preamp with Bartolini pickups; Hipshot B-style bridge and ultralight tuners in satin chrome; with Roscoe gigbag AND new Roscoe HARDCASE ($175 aftermarket purchase). The bass is in mint/like new condition; it looks un-played except for a few small belt buckle dents on the back. $1,500 plus shipping to Continental U.S. PayPal preferred. Thanks!

Nice bass. Surprised it's still here. Very tempting with the mahogany body...

Thanks Steve. I am surprised too. The mahogany is pretty unique... it's quite light and very resonant. Interested in making an offer? - John

Is this still available? How much does it weigh? Where are you located?
