$1,400 - Shipped in Lower 48

I really don't want to do this, but I'm trying to get into a house, and I need some extra cash to help with the downpayment. I absolutely LOVE this bass, but I'd rather let it go than one of my custom Roscoes.

Specs:
Roscoe Century Standard 5 #B004
Born on Sept 1st, 2009
Solid Swamp Ash Body w/ Onyx finish
3-piece Maple neck w/ maple fingerboard
Graphite nut
35" scale
Bartolini CB pickups
Bartolini NTMB-R preamp
Hipshot hardware (chrome)

For those of you who aren't familiar with the Century Standard, I'll explain:
This is no budget model by any means. It is handmade in Greensboro, NC by the same guys who build the fancy schmancy LG/SKB/Century models. No outsourcing/overseas anything. Same parts, same electronics, same attention to detail. These things are amazing.

Like all of my instruments, this one has been babied since day one (I bought it brand new). Strung with DR nickel LowRiders (45-125 IIRC), and set up beautifully with nice low action. Neck is straight as an arrow.

These are the only pics of the bass I have (taken by Bass Emporium before I bought it). It's in the same condition as it was when I bought it, which is to say, pretty much perfect.

This bass comes with the Roscoe/TKL gigbag.

Once again, I HATE to even consider letting this one go, but it will be the easiest one to replace once this house business is over with!

Let's send her to a good home, guys. She definitely deserves it.

Feel free to PM me with any questions. NO TRADES!

Thumbs up

Bump for a great bass and TB'er!

These basses just kill in a live mix and play like a dream!

You can't get into a Roscoe any cheaper than this folks!

Awww.. Thanks guys!

Yeah, I love this bass. Probably the best-playing one I've ever owned (or maybe a tie with my new LG-3005). This Roscoe was the bass that I ditched my brand new Elrick NJS5 for - and I have no regrets whatsoever.

They're a little brighter and more aggressive than the other Roscoe models, but that's exactly what I was looking for when I bought this - it's effing brilliant!

Wow... No takers yet? Has the world gone mad!?!?!?

Okay, folks.. Here's the deal:

If it doesn't sell by the 20th, I'm keeping it. Simple as that. I might be willing to take the price down a little, but I'm definitely not gonna give this one away. It's just too damn nice.

Thanks Ray!

I just played this sucker at a gig on Monday, and honestly, it is every bit as nice as my new LG. I'm amazed that nobody has grabbed it yet!

This should not be on page 4 bump.

Great Bass at 36-37% off the price you can buy one new.

Somebody ought to pick this up.

God Bless, Ray
