This bass is basically new, i got it from a dealer who closed his doors, it's 6 mo old. Very thin , fast feeling neck, really easy and comfy to play.

Terrific bass at a terrific price. These are great instruments regardless of price, but when you factor it in, they're just amazing. Roscoe playability & balance and a versatile tone palette....definitely an impressive value. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Finland | | | For those on the fence: I haven't played the new standard line of Roscoes, but they are made in the same shop by the same guys, with the same attention as the exquisite detail and extra hand work basses that get all the raves. You do miss out on the crazy 3D hand carved top and a plethora of options, though. Then again, you can't get a Signature Roscoe for this money. I'd say a Roscoe Century is a great place to start dabbling in six.
For me, the Roscoe Century Signature VI is where I ended, after having had Smiths, Dingwall, F-bass etc etc etc. Skjold is another damn great bass, but I've yet to snag a sixer without the singlecut body. |
