FS: Roscoe Century Standard Plus 6-string *mint* $1785 shipped

SOLD SOLD SOLD Apologies for the relist, but decided I'm only interested in a straight sale, and have priced it aggressively.

Roscoe Century Standard Plus 6-string. Beautiful koa top on mahogany body. 3-piece maple neck (very fast and easy to play) with birdseye fingerboard (up charge). Bartolini JJ pickups with Bartolini 3-band eq with mid shift. Beautiful bass in very clean condition. I bought it as an experiment but I'm not a 6-string guy. Made in North Carolina - Roscoe quality at a great price. Same electronics and craftsmanship as the full customs.

Roscoe Century Standard Plus 6-string
mahogany body
koa top
3-piece maple neck
birdseye maple fingerboard
35" scale
18.3mm bridge spacing
8.9 lbs

ships in a hard case. Originally was $2800+.

$1785 shipped/insured in the CONUS. Sorry, not interested in any trades.

Great bass, fantastic price. I am sure it has been well cared for by nostatic. If I didn't already have a SKB 3006 I'd pounce.

Damn. I told Robin I wouldn't buy Roscoe #3 until I sell my Geddy Lee jazz...

This is ridiculous. Would go beautifully with the pair of 5'ers I have.

Todd, you are evil... ;-)

Wish I had a trade or partial trade that you couldn't resist. Best I can do is a free bump on this one.

Steve, I've been called worse

I just got a surprise from the IRS - back tax bill from last year. Plus I'm going to go check out an upright today so I figure I'll price it to move. I briefly played it yesterday to take the new pics. It really is a great bass. I just really am not a 6-string guy.

It also doesn't help that I've got two Fodera 5s being built that will be done in a few months

Seems we are ALL trying to SELL this bass when we really should be BUYING it. I have too many so all I can do is act like a back seat salesman. This is a great instrument.

Wow. That's one of the nicest looking Standards I've ever seen.

Hey, here's a little example of what you can do with one of these. ('Course, the one being played isn't nearly as pretty... :^)

Why will no one buy this so I can quit looking at it at this fantastic price?
