SOLDI’ve created a new post with a new price and to eliminate “feeler” and trade info. I'm now offering this amazing bass at the low price of $1,950 shipped. That’s a loss for me, but your gain. I bought this beauty in April and have hardly used it. This Roscoe LG-3000 remains in 100% perfect condition, a tone monster and one hell of a gorgeous and comfortable bass.
This is a beautifully crafted Keith Roscoe LG-3000 four-string bass. Swamp ash body with an exhibition grade maple burl top. Maple neck with purpleheart center. Wenge fingerboard. 34" scale. Bartolini p'ups and electronics. Weighs between 8.5 and 8.8 pounds on the bathroom scale (a very comfortable bass). Serial number 5929. Built in late 2008. Strap-Lok system included. The bass is strung with DR Lo-Rider nickels. Low action. Plays like four sticks of butter.
I bought this bass from its first owner, TBer bpwb, in April. I have used the bass very lightly and lovingly cared for it. Smoke-free home. Original thread: F/S Keith Roscoe LG-3000 Mint
bpwb nailed it with his description of this superlative bass. But, unfortunate timing for me, soon after I took delivery of this LG-3000, my band situations changed and have had me playing other basses, including a lot of upright. I've decided this incredible example of Keith Roscoe workmanship should go to someone who will give it the playing time it deserves.
