Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is my beloved fretless LG-3005

I am absolutely in LOVE with this bass, but I have to sell it in order to buy my dream car - a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T

Specs:
#5778
5 String - 35" scale
Buckeye Burl Top
Swamp Ash Body
Maple/Purpleheart/Maple neck
Lined fretless Diamondwood fingerboard
Roscoe Bartolini pickups/Bartolini NTMB preamp
Black hardware
Original Roscoe Hardshell case & Certificate of Authenticity

Absolute mint condition. It's the most amazing fretless I've ever played. I hate to lose it, but I can't even think about letting this Charger slip away.

$2,200 shippped. Obviously, no trades. Haha

+1 for the Coke Bottle Charger!
Good luck with your sale & purchase.

Seekers of fretless basses. This is the ultimate in playability and tone. The LG is the most comfy bass out there and the diamondwood board is the ultimate source of mwah on the planet! This is less than 1/2 the price of a new one.
If this is here by Monday it will be a miracle. If I had the cash in the GAS account it would be sold already.

Oh my word! I can't believe you're putting this beauty up...

I do understand, though.....

Good luck with the car, I don't think the one'll last long here.

Can't do it...

After playing it again, there's just no way I can sell it.

Sorry to all those who were interested, but I just don't think I could live with myself if I sold this beauty.

Okay, it's available again...

Gah... This beautiful fretless Roscoe is up on the block once again.

I pretty much don't have a choice this time. My company is falling flat on its face, and the bills aint gettin any smaller.. It's either this one, or the one I had built for me.

So yup. Up for grabs again - for real this time. $2,200 shipped in the lower 48. No trades.

I can't believe this. You bought this bass at Bass Emporium right? I played this bass a couple of years ago and decided I had to have it. I didn't have the money just yet and about 2 weeks before I could have made it happen, it sold (apparently to you...haha!!). Well, I immediately ordered one just like it from Roscoe. It is my dream bass. I just couldn't believe it when I saw this for sale. Sorry I can't help you out.

But seriously, this model and wood combination is about as good as it gets for a fretless. Warm, fat, round, and punchy when needed. And a B string that will rattle your bones. Whoever gets this bass will not be disappointed. Good luck with the sale my friend!!

Yes sir, that's the one! I played it and immediately fell in love with it. The only instrument I've ever lost sleep over. The day after I played it, I was waiting at Bass Emporium first thing in the morning, waiting for them to open - deposit in hand.

I really love this thing, and as soon as I have the funds to replace it, I'm ordering another one just like it (with an unlined board).

rwider: If I didn't need the cash, I'd strongly consider it! The lines are the only thing I don't like about this one.
