TalkBass Forums - FS: Roscoe LG-3005 Myrtle Burl

I picked this was up about 3 weeks ago: (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/f...5721-a-946511/) more out of curiosity than anything else. I'd never owned a Roscoe, although several of my friends played them and I was always impressed with their tone.

What I received was nothing short of a spectacular bass. It not only looks way better in person than the pictures show, but the playability and tone are off the charts. This thing is seriously punchy, and I guarantee it will cut through any mix out there.

So why am I selling?

A couple of weeks after purchasing the Roscoe, this was listed: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/s...lassic-953550/. I have been searching for a Nordy for quite some time, but they rarely come up. This one not only had the pickup/preamp config I wanted, but Ice Blue Metallic is one of my favorite colors.

I really wish I could keep both, but finances dictate that I only keep one.
